My name is Kyla Martens and I am the Owner of Sonnenhügel Kennel.

First and foremost, I want to welcome you to our website! I have always had a deep passion and love for animals ever since I was a little girl. I grew up knowing that I wanted to be involved with animals in some way. This led me to attend school to become a veterinary technician - After having worked in the field for several years I grew passionate about creating my own kennel and breeding program for my favorite breeds of dogs.

My experience allows me to provided quality care for all pets I breed or encounter. The purpose of Sonnenhügel Kennel is to provide exceptional boarding, training, and grooming as well as better the German Shepherd and Miniature American Shepherd breeds.

My breeding program aims to produce family companions who are capable of performing in the areas they are bred for.
